WARRANTY PROCESS AND PROCEDURES

When it comes to electronic devices, it is likely that at some point you will eventually have a need for some type of service – we would like to make sure you know exactly how we handle this and that we are here for you!

WHAT WE COVER UNDER WARRANTY:

1. All product purchased from DVAV falls under manufacture warranty (This can vary from one to three years with most manufacturers; although some of are even lifetime product warranties)*

2. One year labor warranty for replacement of any defective products purchased from DVAV

3. One year workmanship warranty on any installation work completed by DVAV

*Industry standard is only 90 days but we provide one full year on above*

4. 60 Day firmware and software upgrades on products provided by DVAV

5. 60 Day, Control system functionality, (missing buttons in programming)

WHAT WE ARE UNABLE TO COVER UNDER WARRANTY:

1. Replacement or troubleshooting of defective equipment provided by the client

2. Service or troubleshooting required do to outside vendors (ie- Issue with cable or directv boxes or ISP issues)**

3. Manufactures firmware updates- (ie- Apple, Samsung, Directv, etc)

The most important note is that we are here for you! We have service staff ready to take your phone call if you have issues (480-907-7095) and we have dedicated service technicians that are ready to come out and help you with any problems!

Service Rates:

  • Programming: $120 per hour 1st hour
  • Firmware updates and system adjustments: $95 per hour
  • Assistance with TV and ISP Providers: $95 per hour
  • Missed Appointments: $50 Trip Fee

*All warranties void if work or product is serviced by anyone outside of DVAV.

**Many times manufactures such Apple, Cox or Directv will force an update to their components that cause them to either need a reboot or troubleshooting. Unfortunately this is out of DVAV’s control and is not covered under warranty if a service call is needed.
